We have a new King of Blackout Rugby Manager (not sure who the last one was ) and what did this new king go and do? He broke the game!

Ok, not literally, but he figured out how to optimize pretty much EVERYTHING about the game in a short amount of time.

Who are we talking about? The manager known as Frosty with his rugby club called Cambridge.

What makes it interesting is that Frosty only created his club in season 8 of 2023 … and in just 213 days of the club’s existence, he managed to produce the first ever level 100 player AND get to the top of the global ladder, you know beating all of the old (slightly smelly) dogs who have been around since the game was played via cave drawings … and he did it with a level 23 club! Wow!

Why is a level 100 player so special?

Well, the highest level players before were only two players that hit level 90 just before their 33rd birthday, you know, when they start losing skills and stuff. I can’t remember who that awesome dude was that produced those level 90 players but you can probably see who he was in one of our past videos… if you dare!

Now the question is …

HOW did he do it such a short amount of time?

Well, I told him the secret sauce which you too can have for the modest sum of $999.99 and a pair of your grandma’s undies … oh wait, did I say that out loud? OK, um … forget I said that.

Frosty maximized training sessions, training matches and ladder matches to beef up all of his players. Here, we are talking about hideous amounts of games all day, every day. He did mention in the discord how many matches he was playing, at least 30 ladder matches a day and sets a timer every 10 minutes to click a few buttons to set up another training match. He mentioned something about 5 or so matches every hour over 12 hours with the goal being 60 matches per day. NOW THAT IS DEDICATION!

Now, there is are some changes coming to the training match experience soon so it may not be possible to have such powerful players every again … hence, the screenshot!

Here’s a thing you may not know about Frosty…

Frosty used to play CLASSIC Blackout Rugby

That’s right, in case you didn’t know, there was an earlier version of Blackout Rugby that was completely browser based that Jeremy created while wearing a bananas in pyjamas costume. (Yes, there is photographic evidence of that)

My team (Woodward Chile) used to battle it out with DC Barbarians (Frosty’s team) way back in maybe 2005 or 2006 or 1864 … it’s all too long ago. So yes, he isn’t exactly a newbie to the game in case you were wondering.

I do have one question though … when frosty goes to the supermarket and is in the veggies section, when he starts looking through the carrots … is frosty picking his nose?
